TBG Design Capabilities

The Baskin Group design studio is spearheaded by our resident architectural designer, Taylor Baskin. Added to our suite of services in 2020, it acts as a multi-disciplinary creative studio servicing the areas of architecture, interiors, and retail concept development.

Taylor launched her career in architecture with an emphasis on commercial interiors and fixture development after receiving her Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 2013. After practicing for three years under Grupo7, a firm in Washington DC, managing projects from home renovations to cafes and locally acclaimed restaurants, she transitioned to New York to pursue a degree in fashion at the Parsons School of Design [‘18] – her introduction to luxury retail and interiors. Upon graduation, she joined the Louis Vuitton Store Planning department managing interior design solutions, new store construction, and pop-ups across the continent. Subsequently, she was proud to join the Global Store Design team for Tiffany & Co., focusing primarily on Global Flagships & Special Projects. She is proud to have contributed to the brand’s iconic 5th Ave Flagship, in addition to South Coast Plaza and Dubai.

Informed by our experience in luxury architecture and interiors, our approach to design is intentional, contextually sensitive, and tech-forward. Our belief that good design should be informed with integrity and emotionally prescient is foundational to our work.

Our design studio has a demonstrated history in helping both newly formed entrepreneurs and established businesses develop attractive, functional, and scalable retail concepts. We make a tailored assessment of the competitive field and offer concepts that serve our client, their business concept, and the intended consumer as much as possible.
